PITRU PAKSHA SEVA
Pitru Paksha is a sixteen-day period when people pay homage and pray for the salvation of their departed ancestors. Vedic rituals are performed during this period to invoke Lord Krishna's blessings on them.
This Pitru Paksha, ISKCON Whitefield invites you and your family a sacred opportunity to honour your forefathers through meaningful seva. Your offering will become an expression of gratitude towards those who came before you and receive blessings of Lord Vishnu, the loving protector and well-wisher of all living beings.
Receive yajna prasadam at your residence.
Why and what should you offer during Pitru Paksha or Shradh?
The Shastras recommend offering through Annadana Seva, Brahmana & Vaishnava Bhojan, contributing towards Gau Seva and Yajna, or supporting Mandir Nirman Seva during Pitru Paksha.
Through such acts of charity and seva during Pitru Paksha, you can pray for your ancestors' spiritual progress and seek the Lord's mercy for your family, bringing blessings of good health, peace and prosperity.
